Warranty & Product Policy
Last Updated: August 22, 2026
PCB Wraps separates installation workmanship, product or manufacturer coverage, and normal wear or external damage. They are not the same thing.
Standard PCB Wraps Workmanship Warranty
Unless a project agreement states otherwise, PCB Wraps provides a one-year workmanship warranty from completion on normal qualifying professional installations including:
- Commercial and fleet wraps
- Color-change wraps
- Trailer wraps and graphics
- Food truck and concession graphics
- Approved boat and marine wraps and graphics, subject to marine-specific conditions
- Qualifying wall graphics
- Window graphics
- Installed signs
- PCB Wraps-installed accessories
- Electronics, audio, and lighting installation
- Wheels, tires, and suspension installation
- Upholstery workmanship
The warranty covers defects attributable to PCB Wraps workmanship. It is not a guarantee against every condition affecting the installed product.
Six-Month Applications
Motorcycle wraps and graphics and golf-cart wraps and graphics receive a six-month PCB Wraps workmanship warranty unless otherwise stated in the project agreement.
High-Abuse Applications
Race graphics and ATV, UTV, SXS, and off-road graphics generally receive no standard PCB Wraps workmanship or performance warranty because their intended environments inherently involve impacts, abrasion, mud, debris, flexible plastics, pressure washing, fluids, heat, contact, and other severe conditions.
This does not eliminate PCB Wraps’ responsibility to address a PCB Wraps-caused production error or another obligation that cannot legally be excluded.
Printed & Shipped Products
Decals, banners, non-installed signs, shipped graphics, and similar products are covered by a Production Defect Guarantee rather than an installation warranty.
Obvious production defects or order discrepancies should be reported within 7 days of receipt or pickup when reasonably discoverable.
Latent defects and applicable manufacturer rights are not automatically eliminated merely because seven days have passed.
PCB Wraps does not warrant installation performed by customers or third parties.
Manufacturer Warranties
Manufacturer warranties and advertised product durability are separate from the PCB Wraps workmanship warranty.
Manufacturer coverage is controlled by the manufacturer’s then-current written terms, eligible applications, product combinations, surface requirements, exposure conditions, and exclusions.
PCB Wraps does not expand or replace a manufacturer’s warranty unless expressly stated in writing.
Customer-Supplied Products
PCB Wraps may decline customer-supplied materials or products.
When accepted, PCB Wraps does not provide a product warranty on customer-supplied items. Applicable PCB Wraps workmanship coverage applies only to PCB Wraps’ installation.
PCB Wraps is not responsible for failure caused by defective, incompatible, incorrectly specified, or unsuitable customer-supplied products.
If a customer-supplied product fails and a manufacturer or seller provides a free replacement, diagnosis, removal, reinstallation, and related labor are not automatically free.
PCB Wraps is not financially responsible for replacement of customer-supplied products or existing components that are damaged or fail as an inherent or reasonably foreseeable result of reasonable installation, removal, or reinstallation, including aged, brittle, damaged, modified, previously repaired, or improperly installed components, unless the loss or damage resulted from PCB Wraps’ negligence.
Customer-supplied vinyl may receive no guarantee regarding material performance, adhesive performance, durability, removability, or manufacturer warranty eligibility.
Substrate & Surface Conditions
Warranty coverage does not extend to failures caused by conditions outside PCB Wraps’ workmanship, including compromised paint or clear coat, repainting, body repairs, oxidation, rust, body filler, old adhesive, coatings, wax, ceramic products, contamination, moisture, or other unsuitable substrates.
Wrap removal carries inherent risks, particularly on repaired, repainted, aged, or compromised surfaces. PCB Wraps is not responsible for substrate failure resulting from reasonable removal practices unless caused by PCB Wraps negligence.
Wrap Installation Techniques
Wraps are installed on complex three-dimensional surfaces and are not paint. Seams, overlaps, relief cuts, inlays, patches, panel planning, and similar techniques may be reasonably necessary based on geometry, material limitations, durability, and installer judgment. Their appropriate use is not automatically a workmanship defect.
PCB Wraps may determine that certain edges, recesses, channels, compound curves, trim, bumpers, or other components should not be wrapped, or should use a particular installation strategy, when doing otherwise would compromise the result.
Unless specifically included in the quote, decals removed during the project are not reinstalled or replaced. Emblems are assumed not to be reinstalled unless specifically stated. Existing emblems, clips, mounting systems, and trim can be damaged during reasonable removal, particularly when aged or previously repaired.
Coverage should be determined by the quoted project scope, including references to actual areas or substrates such as painted body panels, plastic trim, plastic bumpers, jambs, or other components.
Normal Wear & External Damage
Warranty does not cover ordinary wear or damage caused by accidents, impacts, scratches, rock chips, abrasion, dock contact, trailer bunks, beaching, vandalism, racing, off-road use, fuel or chemical exposure, improper cleaning, pressure washing, customer or third-party modifications, or other external causes.
Marine Applications
Marine coverage applies only to the approved application, substrate, material, intended use, and exposure.
Oxidation, gelcoat condition, repairs, coatings, waxes, polishes, ceramic products, salt contamination, and other surface conditions can affect adhesion.
Dock rub, fenders, trailer bunks, beaching, ropes, anchors, fuel, cleaning chemicals, pressure washing, and physical abrasion are not workmanship defects.
Wall Graphics
The standard one-year wall-graphic workmanship and adhesion coverage applies when PCB Wraps evaluates the surface and determines it reasonably suitable.
Unknown, unsuitable, newly painted, poorly bonded, textured, contaminated, or moisture-affected surfaces may receive modified or no adhesion coverage.
Customer or Third-Party Modifications
If a customer or another provider cuts, removes, disassembles, drills through, modifies, repairs, or otherwise affects PCB Wraps-installed work, warranty coverage applies only to unaffected PCB Wraps workmanship.
Care & Maintenance
Warranty coverage may depend on reasonable care and compliance with applicable PCB Wraps or manufacturer care instructions. Damage caused by improper maintenance is not a workmanship defect.
Inspection & Right to Cure
Customers must notify PCB Wraps promptly after discovering a potential problem and take reasonable steps to prevent additional damage.
PCB Wraps must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and determine the cause before another provider alters or removes the affected work. Unauthorized third-party work that prevents PCB Wraps from reasonably determining the cause may limit coverage for the affected issue.
For a covered claim, PCB Wraps may repair, rework, reproduce, reinstall, or replace the affected portion. Refund is generally a fallback when PCB Wraps cannot reasonably provide an appropriate corrective remedy.
Warranty does not automatically include travel, towing, transportation, shipping, lodging, rental vehicles, loss of use, third-party labor, lost revenue, missed events, or other indirect or consequential losses unless expressly agreed or required by applicable law.
PPF
PCB Wraps has not established a standard PPF warranty under this policy. Any PPF warranty will be stated in the applicable project documentation when that service is offered.
